Florida Football Players Crash Car

Two University of Florida linemen were involved in a car accident in
Madison County Sunday afternoon. A local television station reported that the two were travelling together eastbound on the I-10 Highway. They left the roadway and hit some small trees and bushes before coming to a halt. They were checked by EMS personnel at the scene. Photos posted on the television station's website showed one of the players speaking with a law enforcement officer near a vehicle, presumed to be the one
A university spokesperson said the two Gator football players were not injured in the crash and were back in Gainseville by Sunday evening. They were expected to practice as usual on Monday. One of the players' girlfriends, a Florida State student, tweeted that a tire popped on the car and that both men were fine. They were on their way to visit her at in Tallahassee when the accident occurred.
